Who we are
Rohit Samaj Seva Trust works towards the betterment of the people of our community
We work towards the overall development of our people, focusing on cultural, social, educational, and health development. The organization is created by the people of Rohit samaj from multiple villages of Gujarat, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, and Maharashtra.
How the trust was incepted?
Back in 2002 what started as an informal discussion about creating a formal organization that works for the welfare of the people of Rohit samaj between a few distinguished individuals of the community soon became a reality and 12 of our founding members cover picture registered a public trust and named it as Rohit Samaj Seva Trust(Registration No: A/848/Valsad).
A formal constitution of the trust was drafted and approved according to which the trust functions. Late Mr. Jagan M. Rohit was unanimously selected as the first president of the trust.
Our approach
Our Mission
To develop a balanced system for the growth and sustainable development of the people of Rohit samaj to have fulfilled and healthy life through education and awareness.
To achieve our mission of sustainable development the trust has been working tirelessly in the education, sports, health, and cultural sections for many years by regularly distributing education kits to students, organizing career counseling seminars, sports competitions, blood donation drives, health checkup camps, and cultural programs on our annual Sneh Milan.
Our Vision
To spread the reach of the trust to all villages of Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli where our social relations are possible and make every adult citizen a member of the trust.
Office bearers of the trust regularly take new initiatives to add new members to the trust by encouraging them and explaining to them the benefits of the trust that their future generations will have. What started as a small 12-member trust has blossomed into an 850+ members organization now. In recent years, the office bearers worked tirelessly to involve more youth in the trust which has helped us in spreading our reach.
